Women of Color Day

The Women of Color Day label was established in 2003 and is owned solely by Suzanne Brooks, dba Creative Concepts Systems. Her band, The Jazz Generation, is one division of Creative Concepts Systems; The International Association for Women of Color Day is a second division. The Women of Color Day label was established as a vehicle for Brooks's recordings and compositions, and those of other independent artists, especially women jazz artists. To date, 4 CDs have been produced with The Women of Color Day label with 4 more in development with music by Brooks and 2 im development by other artists. Whether jazz or other music genres--Gospel, Hawaiian, R&B, Country and R&B--The Women of Color Day label is committed to solo vocal artists
