The USF Jazz Ensemble is back for its first concert of the 2019/2020 academic year - featuring the debut of some amazing new talent! Also returning are fresh performances of works from some of your favorite bandleaders (Ellington, Basie, Kenton, Thad Jones) as the ensemble celebrates milestone anniversaries of several iconic jazz compositions. If that wasn't enough, the band will also give the Central FL premier of several works from nationally recognized young composers including the 2019, "Owen Prize" winner, Zack Rich.
