The Sunshine Jazz Concert Series Presents The Neil Bacher Quintet at Miami Shores Country Club

We're very pleased to present The Neil Bacher Quintet as SJO's featured artist for our monthly concert series. Bandleader/Guitarist Bacher will be joined by South Florida Jazz Hall of Fame Inductee Dolph Castellano on Piano, with Bassist Peter Bockius from Germany, newcomer Victor Sanchez on Drums, and vocalist Von Henry! Bacher began playing Jazz guitar professionally at 17 and during his career he has accompanied Ira Sullivan, Dolph and Tony Castellano, Stan Getz, Elvin Jones, Bobby Mover, Alice Day, Sandy Patton and many others. He’s toured the world and spent a decade playing and teaching in Europe where he met and performed extensively with Bockius. Neil Bacher is currently professor for Jazz Guitar, Jazz Guitar Ensembles, and Jazz Combos at Palm Beach State College, and performs with his own quartet....
