Beloved Miami Saxophonist, Joe Donato, is the featured artist for this month's Sunshine Jazz Concert Series. Versatile in the entire woodwind family, Joe has a unique performance style and approach to improvisation reflecting a wide variety of musical influences. He has jammed and performed with luminaries such as Dizzy Gillespie, Art Blakey, Carmen McRae and Nina Simone, and was inducted in to The South Florida Jazz Hall of Fame in 2012.
