Roni Ben-hur Quartet at Soka Jazz Festival at Soka Performing Arts Center

Due to issues pertaining to the visa process, Kornel Fekete-Kovacs will NOT be able to perform with us as planned. However, we are very pleased to present in his stead guitarist Roni-Ben-Hur who has been acclaimed as “sophisticated and lyrical” (New York Times) with “dazzling dexterity and tasteful elegance” (Washington Post).

Ben-Hur has earned a sterling reputation as a musician and educator, renowned for his golden tone, improvisational brilliance, and compositional lyricism. Eminent jazz critic Gary Giddins wrote in the Village Voice: “A limber and inventive guitarist, Ben-Hur keeps the modernist flame alive and pure, with a low flame burning in every note. . . .
