Off The Leash is an 11-piece excitement machine, dedicated to performing the r&b/funk/soul classics of the renowned San Francisco-based band, Tower Of Power.
Formed in 1968, Tower Of Power soon made an impact with their distinctive sound and repertoire. Among their hits: 'What Is Hip?', 'You're Still A Young Man' and 'This Time It's Real'. Tower Of Power has always been about the blend of convincing vocals, a driving groove, and horn section riffs that threaten to lift the ceiling.
Replicating such a precise yet powerful sound is not a challenge to be taken lightly. Off The Leash includes musicians who have worked in diverse bands like Reverend Funk, Big & Horny, Funk Fiction, Los Cabrones and Pickpocket.
