A descendent of New Orleans’ music royalty whose deep musical heritage helped to inspire HBO’s hit series, Treme, Batiste is both a fearless artist and a committed scholar. Before moving to New York to pursue a Masters in Music from Juilliard, this young star attended the prestigious New Orleans Center for Creative Arts.
