Jazz By CCM at Concord Conservatory Of Music

On Friday, April 7th at 7 pm, the Concord Conservatory of Music presents Jazz by CCM. To kick off National Jazz Appreciation Month, the Concord Conservatory of Music Jazz Faculty will perform a tribute to the heritage of jazz music as an original American art form. CCM faculty members Carlos Averhoff, Jr. on saxophone, Justin Meyers on bass, Brian Friedland on piano, and Mike Connors on percussion will perform classic jazz compositions, standards, and originals. Vocalist and CCM faculty member Gabriela Martina will also join the group during the evening.

CCM celebrates Jazz, a dynamic, uplifting and emotional musical expression. The National Jazz Appreciation Month is intended to draw public attention to the glories of jazz as both a historical and a living treasure. The Concord Conservatory of Music Faculty Concert Series brings world-class performers to the local community.
