Som navnet antyder har The Mauskovic Dance Band én mission: At få folk til at danse! Deltag i dansefesten med de hollandske groove-brødre, når de skaber tropiske tilstande i Musikcaféen d. 27. november.

The Mauskovic Dance Band er en hypnotisk og dansabel blanding af space disco, cumbia og afro-caribiske rytmer. Efter at have turneret intensivt i tre år som bandmedlem i Jacco Gardner og Eerie Wanda, besluttede multiinstrumentalisten og produceren Nicolas Mauskovic sig for, at det var tid til et nyt kapitel. Han eksperimenterede i et par måneder med sine brødre i sit hjemmestudie i Amsterdam, hvilket resulterede i The Mauskovic Band. Med tilføjelsen af den colombianske cumbia-trommeslager Juan Hundred var bandet komplet og siden 2017 har de spillet op til dans på utallige festivaler i hele Europa.

I maj 2019 udkom deres første album via det toneangivende pladeselskab Soundway Records, der særligt har fokuseret på vestafrikansk highlife og afrobeat, og den sydamerikanske musikscene i nyere tid med udgivelser af bl.a. Bomba Estereo og Meridian Brothers.
