Sophia Kennedy released her self titled debut record to quite some critical acclaim on DJ Koze's Pampa Records also in 2017 - it was voted amongst the 20 best electronic records of that year by Pitchfork. The other half of Shari Vari – Helena Ratka – a brilliant DJ (under the name Ratkat) also appears under the moniker qp/Spine Lab as an audiovisual project, releasing a tape on the Cosmic Cunt Clan in 2017. Shari Vari’s newest single “Out Of Order” blends elements of techno, pop and jazz and combined with their clear cut vocals, they create that catchy, underground, dance-friendly universe that characterize them so well.

Shari Vari er en duo bestående af de to visuelle kunstnere Helena Ratka og Sophia Kennedy. I 2017 udgav Shari Vari deres debut EP ”Life Should Be A Holiday”.

Sophia Kennedy udgav sin debutindspilning hos DJ Koze’s Pampa Records i 2017. Indspilningen blev modtaget med jubel og bifald af kritikerne og blev stemt ind som et af årets 20 bedste elektroniske indspilninger af Pitchfork. Shari Varis anden halvdel, Helena Ratka, optræder også under navnet gp/Spine Lab i et audiovisuelt projekt, som udgav et lydbånd på The Cosmic Cunt Clan i 2017. Hun er en talentfuld DJ (under navnet Ratkat) og arbejder også med teatermusik og filmprojekter.
