Greetings New York friends! I will be doing a single gig on this trip to the US, with The Silent Six, at Brooklyn's unique music venue, Bar LunÀtico (486 Halsey Street, Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn; near Lewis Ave). As anyone who came to our packed-out Smalls gig last November will know, come early, as LunÀtico is not huge. It's an intimate venue, with an very interesting and unusual menu, and a great time will be had by all!

For those of you who haven't had a chance to check out this band, The Silent Six is the band I first assembled to perform the music for Wordless!, my collaboration with Art Spiegelman about early wordless comics/graphic novels. We have performed the piece in Paris, London, Buenos Aires and across the USA, as well as at BAM and Columbia University's Miller Theatre, but it's been a few years and I think it's time for another NYC performance of Wordless!, don't you?

But in the meantime, you can come out and hear the band play other music at Bar LunÀtico on Tuesday June 4th. See you there!
