The spellbinding Isaiah J. Thompson returns to @exuberance—and he’s bringing company.

Vocalist Olivia Chindamo, daughter of Australian jazz pianist and composer Joe Chindamo, was named Young Australian Jazz Artist of the Year for her 2016 album Keep An Eye On Spring. Now in New York, this 25 year old soprano made finalist in last year's Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition. YouTube offers ample evidence of her abilities with electrifying uptempo scatting and with haunting ballads—an arresting voice with inspired improvising skills and emotional range.

Pianist Isaiah J. Thompson brought a trio of 20-year-olds to @exuberance in 2017 that blew us away with over-the-top precision, feeling and swing. Click here for audio of that event. Last year he placed 2nd in the Thelonius Monk competition. Now a senior at Juilliard, he has performed with top artists including Christian McBride, Joe Farnsworth, and Rodney Whitaker, and was featured on Handful of Keys with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis.
