The Kristin Callahan Band will take you on a journey back in time to the era of the formidable Peggy Lee, performing Peggy classics, such as “Fever” and “Why Don’t You Do Right.” Peggy Lee, was an American jazz composer, singer, and actress. Her career spanned six decades, starting as a vocalist on local radio to performing with Benny Goodman's big band. She developed into a diverse artist, who wrote music for films, acted, and recorded albums that combined poetry and music. Many don’t realize that Lee wrote some of her own songs. Kristin will sing some of Peggy’s originals, such as “It’s a Good Day” and “In the Days of Our Love.” A Maryland native, Kristin started her career in Baltimore and is now performing throughout the East Coast, attracting many of the finest touring and recording artists to perform with her...
