Alan Chan is the recipient of the 2015 ASCAP/George Duke Commissioning Prize and winner of 2011 ArtEZ Jazz Composition Contest (Netherlands). His debut album "Shrimp Tale" (2014) has received praise from 10 reviews worldwide. Works in progress include Camel Walk with Guo Yazhi and Moon Walk with Min Xiao-Fen.
