A young , up and coming group of jazz musicians from the Long Beach area, The Painted Birds will showcase their original compositions both old and new. The new music will demonstrate their attempt to push " fusion " music forward , while taking inspiration from groups such as Weather Report , Mahavishnu Orchestra, and Return to Forever. Join us as they take flight at Alvas Showroom . Alvas also welcomes snacks, food , and non alcoholic beverages into the venue.
