Al Di Meola is a jazz fusion, and world music guitarist from New Jersey. Inspired by Elvis Presley, he began to play guitar at eight years old. The Grammy award winner achieved worldwide fame for both being a solo artist and for his collaborations with Frank Zappa, Jimmy Page, Stevie Wonder, Phil Collins, Santana, Steve Winwood, and more. He holds the highest amount of Guitar awards in different categories from Guitar Player magazine.
