Alex Meadow is an upright and electric bass player from New York City, currently residing in the Baltimore Washington metropolitan area. He has been a busy freelance jazz/funk/fusion instrumentalist for the last decade. Alex has played with and studied under Jeff Reed, Mike Pope, and Gary Grainger. He has had the privilege to play in numerous jazz venues across the DMV area since moving to Baltimore two years ago.

An avid performer and educator, pianist Joshua Espinoza balances his time sharing music on the stage and off. As a performer, Josh has played with many renowned artists including Mike Pope, Todd Marcus, John Pineda, Frank Russo, Ryan McGillicudy, Anders Åstrand, Hamilton Price, Eugene Goss, and Gail Wynters, and on national stages including Piccolo Spoleto (Charleston, SC) and the Jazz Kitchen (Indianapolis, IN)....

In January 2016, Josh was a semi-finalist in the UNISA International Jazz Piano Competition in Pretoria, South Africa where he was named “Most Promising Semi-Finalist.” He was previously a semi-finalist in the American Jazz Pianist Competition (2015) in Melbourne, FL.

Each summer, Josh serves on the piano faculty at the Interlochen Arts Camp in Interlochen, MI and was previously on the faculties of the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, Franklin College (IN), and Morehead State University (KY). Josh holds a B.M. in Piano Performance from Furman University (SC) and an M.M. in Jazz Studies (minor in Classical Piano) from Indiana University.

With a style rooted in the jazz tradition yet tastefully modern, Josh’s music reaches audiences of all ages. Currently, Josh is a freelance performer and teacher in Baltimore, MD.
