J Pope and the HearNow is a hip-hop/alt-Soul/funk group from Baltimore. Known for their high energy performances and intense, rigorous compositions, the group released their album Soul Searching in June 2017. The band calls Soul Searching a “snapshot of a period that saw shifting band members, failed experiments, and lessons learned, but also intense moments of inspiration and clarity.”
J Pope and the HearNow have received generous recognition around the Baltimore music scene in publications like Baltimore Magazine and the Baltimore Times.
