Vincent Gardner is a winner of Downbeat Magazine’s “Rising Star” poll for trombone, and a “Rising Star” nominee for vocals. And whether playing lead trombone and composing for the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra or leading his own critically-acclaimed bands live and on studio recordings, he has firmly established himself in the vanguard of today’s jazz scene. This rare Columbus engagement is presented in collaboration with the Jazz Arts Group, Jazz at Lincoln Center and The King Arts Complex.
