Hermon Mehari is a young instrumentalist who won the Carmine Caruson International Trumpet Competition back in 2015. Joining Mehari on his debut album "Bleu" are Aaron Parks, Peter Schlamb, Ryan J. Lee, Rick Rosato, and Blue Note recording artist Logan Richardson. Mehari has performed with Jaleel Shaw, Ben Van Gelder, Jubert Laws, Randy Brecker, Joe Sanders, Clay Jenkins, Tony Tixier, Dave Pietro, and was recently featured on Bobby Watson's "Check Cashing Day" in 2013.
