New York, NY, February 5, 2017– Jambalaya Brass Band will be celebrating Mardi Gras on Fat Tuesday – February 28th, 2017 at SOB’s, 294 Varick Street in New York City with shows at 8:00 and 10:00pm. Well known as the premiere venue not only for World Music, but all genres, in New York City and the world over SOB’s purpose is to expose the musical wealth and heritage of roots music to as many people as possible.
Both of Jambalaya Brass Band’s CDs, It’s a Jungle Out There and On the Funky Side, resulted in heavy broadcast radio rotation nationwide, as well as countless national and worldwide Internet radio stations, and charted in the top five of the CMJ Charts, JazzWeek and The Roots Music Report Charts.
