The event is part of the week-long, annual fundraiser ("A Work of Art") to benefit music education and scholarships provided by APME. FYI: The Arkansas Jazz Heritage Foundation inducted pianist Art Porter, Sr. and saxophonist Art Porter, Jr. into the Arkansas Jazz Hall of Fame in 1994 and 1998, respectively.
