This is a Japanese label reissuing out-of-print Blue Note recordings of American jazz musicians. Toshiba-EMI Limited, also known as Toshiba EMI or TOEMI, is one of Japan's leading music companies. The company is a joint venture between EMI and Toshiba. As of 2005, the current CEO and chairman is Masaaki Saito.
