They will be performing some Brazilian Jazz standards along with original music from their latest CD “My Remedy” and upcoming EP.</p><p>Ella &\; The Bossa Beat is a mixture of Soul\, Pop and Brazilian Jazz. It is formed by Ella and Magrus Borges\, father and daughter duo. Ella Borges\, singer/songwriter was born in Miami\, and raised in Brazil. She plays piano and guitar\, and composes and records with her father at their home studio. She is currently a student at Stetson University\, studying International Business and Music\, and on the weekends performs with her band at different venues.</p><p>Magrus Borges\, drummer/composer/producer from Brazil\, played and recorded with many international artists such as: Shakira\, Grace Jones\, Astrud Gilberto\, and currently touring with Bebel Gilberto. Magrus has recorded six original CDs\, and produced for various artists. Ella &\; The Bossa Beat has performed at many Orlando Jazz clubs\, art festivals\, private events and Epcot/Disney. They have released their CD “My Remedy” and currently are finishing recording their new EP</p>
