A regular of Jazz at Lincoln Center’s late-night dance sessions, Charles Turner & Uptown Swing make their way north bringing a lively evening for everyone to enjoy. Grab a picnic, a blanket, and your dancing shoes to Lindy Hop along to melodies from the Harlem Renaissance through to today’s swing music. This set is led by charismatic jazz vocalist and bandleader Charles Turner III and backed by his five-piece rhythm and horn section.
